When you launch a new site, certain URLs may break. To avoid confusion and lost leads, you can set up redirects to your new website. To do so, you:
1. Log in to your B12 Dashboard, select Website, then Settings.
2. Under Page redirects, click Manage redirects.
3. Click Add redirect.
4. Leaving out your domain name, enter the page URL that you are redirecting from.
For example, if you would like to redirect https://www.danshotdogstand.com/products enter products in the Redirect from box.
5. You can choose where to redirect your URL by selecting a Link type. You can choose from a variety of link types when setting up a redirect:
6. Once you select the link type, you can select the correct page or enter the new URL in the Links to box—you can View more information about link types here. For example, when you select Page from the link type drop down it will ask you to select the page you want to link to:
7. Click Redirects at the top to save your changes and return to your list of redirects.
Tip: If your old page URL included a / in the middle or at the end, you'll need to choose External website URL as the link type, then enter the full page URL.
