Changing account ownership of your B12 account

Learn how to transfer or update ownership information on your B12 account.

If you need to change ownership of your B12 account, you can use the steps below:

Note: If you manage multiple websites under a single login, updating your account information will affect all websites linked to that login. It’s not possible to change ownership for one site without updating them all.

If you know the login information

1. Click the dashboard b12 logo logo on the upper-left corner of the editor.

2. Click Edit profile.

From here, you can update:

    • Owner name

    • Phone number

    • Email address

    • Business information, including your company name and business email address

Updating the email address listed under You will change your B12 login email address.

Updating the email address listed under Your business will change the default email address that displays on your website.

3. When you’re done, click Save, then close the window using the X button.

Optional:  If you changed your business email address, go to Website from the main menu and click the Publish button in the upper-right corner to update your live site.

If you don’t have the login information
