Troubleshooting "Domain already claimed" error
Learn what to do if you see a “Domain already claimed” error while connecting your website to B12.

If you see the message “Domain already claimed” while trying to connect your domain to B12, here are some possible reasons:

The domain is already linked to another B12 account
This error appears when your domain is currently connected to a different B12 website.
If you have access to that account, log in and remove the domain from the existing website.
Removing an existing domain
1. In the left sidebar menu, go to . Domains
2. Click the domain.

3. Click the gear icon.

4. Click Remove domain.

If you no longer have access, contact B12 Support for help removing the domain to your current account.
You previously added the domain to your account
If you’ve already connected the domain before or if you are in the process of connecting it, it may not appear immediately.

Refresh your B12 Editor tab in your browser.

In the left sidebar menu, go to
.Domains

The domain should appear automatically once your editor reloads.
