Changing your B12 password

Follow these steps to change your password directly from the B12 Editor.

1. Log in to the B12 Editor.

2. At the top of the left sidebar, click the logo.

3. Click Change password. 

4. Enter your current password.  

5. Enter your new password under New password and Confirm new password

6. Click Save. 

Password requirements

When you set a new password, B12 checks it against a few rules that help keep your account secure.

Your new password must:

• Be different from your personal details, such as your name or email address.
• Contain at least eight characters.
• Avoid common passwords. B12 compares your password against a list of the 20,000 most common passwords and won't accept a match.
• Include more than just numbers. A password made up entirely of digits isn't allowed.
