Your website's global metadata is a set of details, including your site title, description, and favicon, that appear in browser tabs and search engine results. The global metadata applies site-wide as a fallback for any page that doesn't have its own metadata set.
Updating your global metadata and favicon
1. In the left sidebar menu, go to > Website
. Settings
2. Click Website metadata.
3. Update your website title, description, and favicon.
In this panel, you can:
-
Edit the Title (used in browser tabs and search results)
-
Write a short Description (often shown in search previews)
-
Upload a Favicon (the small icon that appears in browser tabs)
4. To ensure your edits are live, select Publish in the upper right-hand corner of your editor
Note: Updating your website's Global metadata will not update the metadata description of each page of your website. This is a "back-up" option for pages that do not have a metadata description. You can use this article to update the metadata descriptions of each of your site's pages.
