Last updated: 22 Apr., 2026 | | --- | Your website's global metadata is a set of details, including your site title, description, and favicon, that appear in browser tabs and search engine results. The global metadata applies site-wide as a fallback for any page that doesn't have its own metadata set. ### Updating your global metadata and  favicon 1\. In the left sidebar menu, go to `Website` \> `Settings`. 2\. Click `Website metadata`. 3\. Update your website title, description, and favicon. In this panel, you can: - Edit the **Title** (used in browser tabs and search results) - Write a short **Description** (often shown in search previews) - Upload a **Favicon** (the small icon that appears in browser tabs) 4\. To ensure your edits are live, select `Publish` in the upper right-hand corner of your editor **Note:** Updating your website's Global metadata will not update the metadata description of each page of your website. This is a "back-up" option for pages that do not have a metadata description.
