# Editing form submission reply email template \[B12 2.0\]
## Learn how to edit an automated submission reply email for your contact forms

Editing an automated form submission email in your B12 editor is a quick and easy way to personalize your business's online presence. Below is a quick outline of how to edit form submission reply email templates.
### Enabling automatic replies
1\. In the left sidebar, click `Intake forms`.
2\. Select the intake form you’d like to edit.
3\. Scroll to **Automated emails to your client** and click `Form submission confirmation`.

4\. Check the status of your automatic replies and make sure it is set to **Enabled**.
### Editing your automatic reply
With the B12 editor, you can edit your automatic replies, including:
- Subject line
- Body
- Hide or display your business logo
After making your changes, click `Save` in the left sidebar. Your email template will be updated right away.
**Note:** By default, automated reply emails are sent from a B12 address.
If you want these replies to come from your own domain (e.g., info@yourbusiness.com), you’ll need to:

### FAQ
#### What’s the difference between Automated Email Marketing emails and Form submission confirmation emails?
In B12, both are automated emails, but they serve different purposes:
- - **Form submission confirmation emails**
- Sent immediately after someone submits a form on your website.
- Can include **smart tokens**, such as the actual content of the submission (e.g., name, message, selected services).
- Typically used to reassure the visitor that their message or signup was received.
- **Automated Email Marketing emails**
- Sent based on triggers you define in the **Email Marketing** section of the B12 Editor (e.g., a welcome sequence, follow-up reminders, or engagement campaigns).
- Allow for more advanced **design and formatting options**, including images, card-style sections, and social media links.
- Cannot include submission content from a form.
