An explanation of why some payouts you request are reviewed

Sometimes, a payout you request in Payments & Invoices will be placed in review:

In accordance with B12's terms of service, you should not use B12 for nefarious purposes (e.g., fraud, impersonation, and abuse, among other disallowed practices). For payments, this most commonly surfaces as identity/account theft, fraudulent payment information, money laundering, or payment for illegal activities.

To help prevent such abuses, your ability to pay out will sometimes be reviewed by a B12 team member. This most commonly happens when you have recently provided new payment details, but might happen for other reasons as well.

If your ability to pay out is marked as in review, there is no action necessary. Your payout capability will be unlocked as soon as it is reviewed within 10 business days. If you have any questions or details to share with B12, reach out for support.
