A favicon is the small icon that appears in a browser tab next to your website title. It helps visitors recognize your site when they have multiple tabs open and can make your website look more polished.

Before you start, make sure you have a favicon image ready in your media library, or prepare one to upload during the process. Square images usually work best.

Adding a favicon

  1. In the left sidebar, go to settings Settings .

  2. Under Site identity, click Manage site identity.

  3. Under Favicon, select Choose from library.

  4. Choose an existing image from your library, or select Upload media to add a new image.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Click Publish. Your new favicon will only appear on your live website after you publish the changes.

Tips:

  • Use a simple icon or logo with little to no text. Small images can be hard to read.

  • Use a square image for the best fit.
