What's new in Websites 3.0

Websites 3.0 features full-website code generation, allowing you to build your site to your own specifications with the help of B12's AI Agent. Instead of clicking through menus and sidebar controls, just tell the AI Agent what you want, and it writes the code to make your changes.

Key difference from Websites 2.0:

• Websites 2.0 uses templates and sidebar controls with predefined layouts. Your website is created within a few seconds, and you can edit through B12's user interface or by chatting with the AI Agent. The Agent is limited to actions that use B12's prebuilt features and functionality.
• Websites 3.0 uses natural language prompts for all changes and gives you complete flexibility to customize. You can move from idea to published site in minutes, while still having code-level control when you need it. Changes are made by the AI Agent through code generation.

Publishing and hosting

Website hosting is included with every B12 website. On the free plan, you will have a default domain ending in .b12sites.com. For a more professional web address, upgrade and connect a custom domain (for example, www.mybusinessname.com).

Custom domain connection is available on Basic plans and above. In most cases, you can keep your current domain registrar and point your domain to B12 without transferring it.

Websites 3.0 doesn't have the traditional sidebar with fields, toggles, and dropdowns. Instead, you use:
