Tagging your contacts in the Contact Manager helps you stay organized and reach people quickly. This feature makes it easy to follow up with individuals who contact you or reach out to those who haven’t been in touch.

Contacts are automatically tagged with the name of the form they submitted. When selecting a tag to send to in Email Marketing, the autotag will show as form:[form name].

You can customize the names of your forms for easier identification.

Creating tags in Contact Manager

1. In the left sidebar menu, go to contact manager Contact manager.

2. Your list of contacts will appear. Click the contact you want to tag — this will open their details in a sidebar.

3. Under Tags, click the field to add or search for a tag.

  • Type a new tag name, then check the box that appears to create a new tag category.

  • Or, click the field to select from existing tags.

4. A rectangular tag label will appear once it’s successfully added. Click the x button to remove a tag if needed.

5. When you’re finished, click Save.

Tagging multiple contacts

1. From the Contacts pane, check the boxes to the left of the contacts you want to tag.

  • To select all contacts, click the checkbox beside the Contact column header.

2. Click Tag.

3. Select an existing tag or type to create a new one.

4. The selected tag will apply to all checked contacts automatically.

Using tags in Email Marketing

When creating an email campaign, you can send messages to specific contact groups based on tags:

In the To field, choose a tag from the list instead of selecting All contacts.

This allows you to target your emails to specific audiences — for example, clients who filled out a particular form or leads from a recent campaign.
