Exit intent pop-ups are windows that appear when a visitor’s cursor moves toward closing the page or navigating away from your website. These pop-ups are designed to capture attention and encourage visitors to take action before leaving — such as signing up for a newsletter or viewing a promotion.

The most effective exit intent pop-ups highlight a special offer or reinforce your business’s value proposition.

Editing exit pop-ups

1. In the left sidebar, go to website Website > settings Settings

2. Scroll to Exit pop-up, then click Goal: Collect email addresses.

3. Click the dropdown under Status, then select Enabled.

The live preview on the right will instantly update to show your changes.

4. Under Settings, choose where the pop-up appears — on All pages or Specific pages.

If Specific pages is selected, use the checkboxes to choose which pages you want the pop-up to display on.

You can also enable the option for the pop-up to stay visible when the page is refreshed.

5. Under Content, edit your pop-up’s text and form fields. You can update the Title, Subtitle, Description, and Contact Form to fit your message.

6. Under Appearance, you can change the layout, animations, background, width group, or section height of your pop-up.

Additional options for alignment, background styling, grids & dimensions, and mobile are available at the bottom of the Appearance settings.

7. When finished, click Publish in the upper-right corner of the editor to make your pop-up live.
