You can manually override your website’s fonts to customize styles for specific areas, such as navigation, headings, buttons, or blog posts. This gives you more control than selecting a default font pairing.

Note: This article covers steps to manually override your website's fonts sitewide. If you would like to update your website's colors, font, or theme without customization, refer to this article.

Manually overriding your website's fonts

1. In the left sidebar menu, select website Website > style Style.

2. Select Fonts.

Heading (4)

3. Select Override fonts.

4. From here, you can click into each font category and subcategory to update the corresponding font.

Note: Categories are organized by where they will appear on your website and include:

  • Navigation
  • Hero
  • Body
  • Buttons
  • Forms
  • Contact details
  • Collection items
  • Testimonial carousel
  • Blog post
  • Footer

5. Once you click into a subcategory to update, you'll be presented with an editing panel with a variety of options.

From here, you can update the:

  • Weight and style
  • Font size
  • Alignment
  • Capitalization
  • Line height
  • Letter spacing
