Manually overriding your website's fonts

Learn how to manual override the fonts on your website

Note: This article covers steps to manually override your website's fonts sitewide. If you would like to update your website's colors, font, or theme without customization, refer to this article.

Follow the steps outlined below to manually override your website's font settings:

1. Log into your B12 Editor, select Website -> Style from the lefthand editing panel

2. From the Style panel, you can:

  • Change your website’s theme to update its overall design.
  • Select a new color palette to refresh the look of your site.
  • Adjust your fonts to match your brand’s style.
  • Update your site's logo

3. Once you've navigated to the style section, on the lefthand editing panel, select Font

4. Select Override Fonts

5. From here, you can click into each font category and subcategory to update the corresponding font



Note: Categories are organized by where they will appear on your website and include:

  • Navigation
  • Hero
  • Body
  • Buttons
  • Forms
  • Contact details
  • Collection items
  • Testimonial carousel
  • Blog post
  • Footer

6. Once you click into a subcategory to update, you'll be presented with an editing panel with a variety of options

Here, you can update the:

  • Weight and style
  • Font size
  • Alignment
  • Capitalization
  • Line height
  • Letter spacing
