Learn how to manage your B12 subscription, make payments, and understand what’s included in your plan.

This article answers common questions about B12 subscriptions, payments, and plan management.

How can I make a past-due payment?

If your payment is past due, update your payment method in your B12 account if it needs to be changed. Your payment will be automatically retried, though it may not happen immediately.

If you’d like to make a payment right away, open the chat in the bottom-right corner of your B12 dashboard and type "Human help" to speak directly with a live agent.

How can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

You can upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any time.

Customers on our Starter or Basic subscription can switch to Professional (setup fee optional) or Advanced (setup fee required).

Customers who pay a setup fee can choose between Professional or Advanced.

Customers on the Advanced or Professional subscriptions cannot downgrade to Starter or Basic.

Note: When upgrading to a higher plan, changes take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.

Can I switch from monthly to annual (or vice versa)?

Yes. To change your billing cycle, contact B12 Support through chat or email, and our team can adjust your subscription for you.

Plan changes typically take place on the next payment date.

Note: Annual plans include a 15% discount compared to monthly billing.

Can I pay my subscription in another currency?

No. All B12 subscriptions are billed in U.S. dollars (USD). If your payment method is based in another country, your bank or card provider may convert the amount into your local currency automatically.

What is included in my subscription?

B12 offers several subscription tiers designed to fit your business needs — from DIY website creation to full-service expert setup. Each plan includes access to the B12 platform, hosting, and AI tools, with additional features depending on your tier. Check this article for more information.

What is not included in my subscription?

Some services fall outside your monthly plan and are billed separately. Examples include:

  • Website Enhancements: Custom design or copy updates beyond what’s included in your plan. These are billed at $75/hour.

Tip: Contact our Support Team to confirm whether a specific request is covered by your plan or billed as a Web Enhancement.
