Utilizing alignment settings

Learn how to adjust content alignment with your website's sections.

You can update the alignment of text and other content within a section using the alignment settings in your B12 editor. 

Changing alignment settings

1. In the left sidebar menu, go to website Website > pages Pages

2. Select the page and section that you want to edit.Scroll to Alignment

5. Update your alignment preferences using the options below:

  • Alignment: Sets the overall position of your section content. Choose Left, Center, Right, or Default. Default uses the layout’s built-in alignment.
  • Component content alignment: Controls how text and media are positioned inside each collection item. For example, you can center the content inside an individual team member card.
  • List text alignment: Adjusts how bulleted or numbered list text aligns within the section.
  • Component grid alignment: Controls how multiple items in a grid layout are arranged across the section. This affects spacing and balance for sections like team members, products, or projects.

Note: Alignment options vary based on the type of section and layout you are using. Some layouts support more alignment controls than others.

6. Click Publish to update your live website.
