To help you stay compliant with international privacy regulations, B12 allows you to easily enable a General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) consent notification on your website.

The GDPR is a privacy law enacted in the European Union that requires websites to obtain user consent before collecting personal data, such as cookies or contact information. Adding a GDPR consent banner ensures that your visitors are informed and can agree to how their data is used. While this regulation is specific to the EU, enabling the consent banner is a good practice for businesses with international audiences.

Enabling GDPR Consent Banner

1. In the left sidebar, click website Website > gear cogwheel dark Settings.

2. Select GDPR Consent Notification.

3. Check the box labeled Show GDPR consent on website.

Optional: Add a Privacy Policy link. Enter the link to your Privacy Policy page in the designated field to give users additional transparency.

4. Click Publish in the upper-right corner of the editor to apply the banner to your live site.
