Writing a Blog Post with AI Assist

If you want to quickly publish blog content for your website, B12’s AI Assist feature makes it easy to generate posts in just a few clicks. This tool uses your business information and blog topic to generate relevant, on-brand content automatically.

Follow the steps below to create a blog post using AI Assist.

1. Log into your B12 editor

2. On the left-hand editing panel, select Website > Pages

                     

 

3. To access your blog feed, select Blog feed from the left-hand editing panel or whichever page your blog feed appears on

Need to add a blog feed? If you haven’t added a blog to your site yet, follow the steps in this article to add a blog feed first.

4. On the left-hand editing panel, click into your blog section typically labeled Blog feed.

5. Scroll down on the left-hand editing panel until you see the section labeled Blog posts, then click Add new blog post.

6. Fill out the AI Assist blog prompt by completing the following fields:

  • Blog post name – A working title for your post

  • Blog post details – A brief description or keywords to help shape the content

 You can also edit your business details to give more context to AI Assist by clicking Show business details.

  • Business name, description, and location – These are auto-filled but editable

  • Tone – Choose a tone like “Professional,” “Friendly,” or “Convincing”

  • Language – Choose the language your post should be written in

7. Click Generate blog post

8. Review and edit your blog post

Your new post will appear in the blog feed. If you'd like to make changes to it, you can:

  • Edit the text

  • Update the post image

  • Adjust formatting and layout
