If you want to make edits to your B12 website but are worried about losing content or disrupting your current structure, you can use the snapshot tool to save a copy of your website as it exists right now. This gives you a restore point you can return to anytime.

Creating a history snapshot

1. In the left-hand pane, select website Website > history History .

3. At the top right of the History page, click Add Snapshot.

Note: If no changes have been made since your last snapshot, you won’t be able to create a new one. Make a small edit to your website and try again if needed.

4. Enter a clear description for your snapshot so you can identify it later, then click Create. The date and time are automatically saved.

Once your snapshot is created, you can safely continue editing your site.
