Client Engagement seats expand your B12 subscription by giving you and your team access to advanced tools that help you attract, win, and manage clients directly through your website.
Each team member has their own login and access to specific tools. Seats make it possible to share access while controlling each person’s permissions.

How seats work
Seats provide separate logins for team members, with permissions controlled by the account owner (administrator).
Each seat includes access to Client Engagement tools, such as:
-
Client intake forms to collect client details and qualify leads.
-
Online scheduling so clients can book, reschedule, or cancel appointments.
-
Contracts & eSignatures to finalize agreements electronically.
-
Payments & invoicing to send branded invoices and accept credit card or ACH payments.
-
Email automation to handle appointment notifications, payment reminders, form confirmations, and contract copies automatically.
-
Email marketing for branded campaigns and automated updates.
-
Contact manager to store and organize all client interactions.
Note: Seats do not automatically grant full website or billing access. The account owner entirely defines what a team member can do.
Viewing available seats
On the left sidebar menu, click
. Team
If the Team section is locked, you’ll see an upgrade screen instead because your plan does not include any Client Engagement seats. Upgrade in order to access Team features.
If you don’t see the Team section at all, you do not have permission to manage team members. Only the account owner or team members with the Admin permissions can view this section. The admin can update your permission settings.
The Team section shows:
- The number of seats available to be assigned.
-
How many seats are currently used.
-
Which team members each seat is assigned to.
How to tell who has a seat
- Team members with the Clients permission enabled are the ones using seats.
- Team members without the Clients permission will not have access to the Client Engagement tools listed above.
