B12 Websites 3.0 is the next generation of website building and editing on B12—built for code generation, faster iteration, and more creative flexibility. 

Websites 3.0 introduces a new editing experience powered by an AI Agent. Instead of relying only on traditional sidebar-based editing, you can make website updates by describing what you want in natural language or edit the underlying code directly for more control.

Alongside the new editing workflow, Websites 3.0 continues to support key business tools like domains, analytics, payments & invoicing, and team collaboration.

AI Agent

• Websites 3.0 includes an AI Agent that helps you build and update your website using natural language. Instead of manually editing every element, you can describe what you want to change, and the Agent generates the necessary updates.

• The AI Agent supports:

• • Code generation – Create or modify page structure and components through generated code.

  • Copy generation – Write or rewrite headlines, service descriptions, calls to action, and other page content.

  • Image generation – Create custom images based on your prompts.

  • Logo generation – Generate logo concepts aligned with your brand.

  • Design and style changes – Adjust fonts, spacing, colors, and layout styling.

  • Functionality changes – Add or update interactive elements and site behavior.

  • Image interpretation – Analyze uploaded images to inform layout, branding, or content decisions.

  • Suggestions and brainstorming – Get ideas for structure, messaging, improvements, and site planning.

  • File uploads – Attach or paste 1 file per prompt. Supported filetypes: pdf, png, jpg, webp.

• Use the AI Agent for common updates such as restructuring pages, adding new sections, refreshing content, or building components like pricing tables and call-to-action blocks.

Best practice: Start with clear, specific instructions. Websites 3.0 works best when you tell the Agent what to change and what to keep.

For users who want more control, Websites 3.0 allows you to access and manually edit the underlying code.

If you’re making a change that requires pixel-level precision, manual code edits can be a faster option than repeated prompting.

Domains and publishing

Every B12 website includes a default domain ending in .b12sites.com. For a more professional web address, you can connect a custom domain (for example, www.mybusinessname.com).

Custom domain connection is available on Basic plans and above, and in most cases you can keep your current domain registrar and point your domain to B12 without transferring it.

Payments and invoicing

B12 includes built-in Payments & Invoicing tools to help you bill clients and get paid, without needing a separate invoicing system.

With B12 Payments & Invoicing, you can:

  • Accept payments via credit card or ACH bank transfer
  • Track payments and manage billing from your B12 account
