      Adding a learn more pop-up box to a product or service section

      Steps to Activate Popup (Lightbox) Functionality:

      1. Choose a Layout with Lightbox Functionality

        • Start by selecting a layout that supports popups (lightboxes). You can identify layouts with this functionality by looking for the "Learn More" link in the preview thumbnail of the collection items.
        • Additionally, check the "Appearance" list for the term "Lightbox." If it appears, the layout supports popup functionality.

      2. Verify Layouts Without Popup Functionality

        • Some layouts may include a "Learn More" button but do not have popup (lightbox) functionality. If "Lightbox" is not present in the Appearance list, then the popup feature is unavailable for that layout.

      3. Remove Any Linked Templates

        • To enable the popup, you need to remove any templates linked to the collection item. When a template is applied, the "Learn More" button or link will direct users to a new page.

      4. Add a Description to the Collection Item

        • Ensure there is a "Description" added to the collection item. The presence of a description activates the popup, and the text will be displayed in the lightbox when users click "Learn More."

      5. Confirm the Lightbox Activation

        • Once the template is removed and a description is added, the "Learn More" button will trigger a popup, displaying the information in a lightbox instead of redirecting to a new page.
