Alt text is a basic requirement for accessible sites and a great way to improve both your site's functionality and searchability. Follow the instructions below to edit the alt text for images on your B12 site:
1. First, log into your B12 editor and navigate to the page with the image you'd like to add alt text to. Click on the section with the image you would like to edit.

Note: If your image is associated with a collection item (Gallery Item, Product, Service, etc.), select the collection item first, then the image.
2. Under the Image or Media field, click the Metadata button.
3. You can then add your desired description to the Alternative Text field. You can also add an image tag here and/or a caption.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for any other images you'd like to update and/or publish your changes!
