Editing image alt text (alternative text) for accessibility

Alt text is an important part of website accessibility. It helps visitors who use screen readers understand your images and also improves your site's search visibility. 

Editing image alt text

1. Go to the page that contains the image you want to add or edit alt text for.

2. Click the section that includes the image you want to edit.


Note: If your image is associated with a collection item (Gallery Item, Product, Service, etc.), select the collection item first, then the image.

3. Under the Image or Media field, click Metadata.

4. You can then add your desired description to the Alternative Text field. Add an image tag or caption if needed.

5. Click Publish to make your changes live.
